Zeez, Snoozles, and Dozie are the main Shushies in this book. The Shushies make the dreams that the children send up to Shushybye via stars. I have not seen the shows though I think they would be really cute. I was sent Shushybye Sleepover Surprise to review. My three year old and I always spend time together at night reading a story (or two or three). The first thing I noticed right away was how vibrant and colorful the pages and illustrations were. You felt like you were in Shushbye while reading this story. The three main characters are lovable and cute as well as very unique. After having this story in my home for two weeks my son will not go to sleep without me reading it. There is also a cd included in the book which has a couple songs as well as a narration of the book. We used the cd one night when my throat was to sore to read; Aaron loved it!
I was also sent Close Your Eyes cd to review. I think this cd has been played more the last two weeks than anything in my house. Aaron has to listen to this cd every night while he goes to sleep. I really expected lullaby type music when I put this cd into my radio~ boy was I wrong! This is a rockin type of music and so cute. I actually enjoyed listening to this cd just as much as Aaron did. I really hope at some point the Shushybye concert will make its way towards East Tennessee!
I can honestly say Aaron looks forward to bed time now.
